WEIGHT STACKS: constructed out of solid I" x 4" steel. Each plate is CNC machined for accuracy, double baked powder coated and chamfered / press fitted with nylon bushings to ensure accurate, smooth and quiet functioning. Graduated weight stacks in 5 lbs. increments are also available. They provide both a lower starting weight and smaller increments between plates (optional). COMPONENTS: 1/8" to 3/16" black nylon coated cable with a 2000 lbs. test strength. I!i All pivot points incorporate self lubricating pillow block or flange bearings. All user adjustability points incorporate self enclosed spring pins and / or fastening studs for accuracy and safety. FRAME: consists mainly of 2"x2" and 2"x3" .100 to .125 wall steel for a better finish and greater test strength. Weight stack housings are mandrill bent to eliminate rippling, increase frame strength, and ensure consistency. All frames are double baked powder coated to colour of choice. We have over 50 colours to choose from (*surcharge may apply). All bar contact zones are protected with a 3/8" thick chrome plated flange to safeguard the frame against erosion and abuse. We offer a trade-in program to keep the contact zones looking like new. UPHOLSTERY: all pads are double stitched with industrial strength nylon for strength, durability and overall improved aesthetics.. All pads are constructed individually to suit the specific application and insure comfort and performance. LINEAR MOTION SYSTEMS: our self enclosed linear bearings run off an induction hardened shaft ensuring an accurate and fluid motion. This system incorporates a test strength of 15,000 lbs.
